Christian Education
We believe that Christian life is strengthened and deepened by structured learning. Christian education is a life long process. Therefore, learning opportunities are offered for every age level at St. Matthew’s.
- We have a weekly Sunday Church School for pre-school through eighth grade, beginning at 9:30 AM in our educational building.
- The Pastor will prepare children for their first Communion. They must be at least 8 years old.
- The Pastor will prepare children for their Confirmation. It is a two year course of study covering the Catechism and portions of the Bible. The course begins in the seventh grade.
- There are adult courses offered throughout the year on selected Tuesdays at 7:30 PM in the church library on topics of church history, doctrine and scripture.
