Education | Church School
St. Matthew’s Sunday Church School Program is designed to meet the spiritual needs of our children (ages 3 to 13). The goal of the program “Growing in Christ” is to help students develop the values associated with being a good Christian.
The curriculum focuses on studying bible stories of the New and Old Testaments along with the study of Luther’s Small Catechism. Crafts, music and other engaging activities enhance the program. Social outreach projects and special children’s liturgies complete the program helping the children learn about their faith and develop skills and knowledge that will guide them in their day to day living.
Classes are held each Sunday from 9:30 to 10:15 AM with Sunday Eucharist following at 10:30 AM.
