Ministries | WELCA
The St. Matthew’s chapter of the Women of the ELCA was established in February 2009. We are a community of women committed to servicing Jesus Christ, St. Matthew’s Church and the local and global community. We have undertaken many projects since our inception. We hosted a blood drive. We have assisted in the financial support of seminarian families. We have hosted spaghetti dinners to help support church projects, and we have worked in a local soup kitchen. We go to lunch as a group twice a year for fellowship. We are also committed to further our Christian education and spiritual formation. Membership is open to any woman of the church. Meetings are held the first Saturday of the month at 10:00 am in Luther Hall.
