Worship

St. Matthew’s is committed to the beautiful and rich historical Lutheran liturgical tradition.  Holy Communion is celebrated every Sunday at 10:30 AM.  It is the source of our life together.  The seasons and feast days of the church are appropriately observed according to the liturgical calendar.

St. Matthew’s has a long tradition of musical excellence.  The church has a beautiful 39 rank Shantz pipe organ and a volunteer choir with professional section leaders.

While we embrace our great Lutheran musical tradition, and that of the larger western church, we are always eager to incorporate new musical expressions of worship.  We strive for fidelity, integrity, solemnity and joy in our worship and believe that the spiritual health of the congregation is directly related to the quality of its worship life.

The Church will be open Monday through Friday from 11:30AM – 1:30 PM for personal prayer and meditation.

All are welcome!
